The Cave Hill Cultural Studies Programme has a multifaceted outreach profile that includes campus wide activities as well as community and public sector collaborations. Over the years the Programme has hosted a wide range of annual community activities, public lectures/discussions and symposia. We have also hosted numerous Rockefeller Artists and Scholars in Residence who conducted workshops and seminars within the graduate Programme and also targeted to the general UWI Cave Hill community and broader Barbadian public. Chief among our endeavours have been enacting our mission of linking the study of culture with opportunities to engage in the practice of culture making, with subsequent intellectual exchanges among producers and scholars of culture alike.
