Bio

Asan Hoyte has spent the last nine years teaching at various educational levels in Barbados and Colombia. From 2013 to 2014, he was an English Language Assistant at the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander in Colombia. This stint in Colombia was followed by three years teaching Spanish at primary and secondary schools in Barbados. In 2019, Mr. Hoyte completed the MA in Theoretical & Experimental linguistics at UPV/EHU, Spain and subsequently joined the Academic Literacies programme at Cave Hill. Currently, he teaches sections of Exposition for Academic Purposes and Professional Writing and the Research Methods course in the Linguistics programme.
