Barbados Interdisciplinary Tropical Studies (BITS)

The BITS programme is a joint University of the West Indies and McGill University summer field study experience. The programme aims to prepare students with knowledge, practice and mentored project experience needed to build expertise and confidence in handling development issues related to agriculture, food, environment and health. BITS involves three 3-credit, intensive courses and one 6-credit multidisciplinary project course during the summer.
