Welcome to the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics (CMP) at UWI Cave Hill. I am delighted to serve as your Head of Department and to lead this exceptional team of educators, researchers, and support staff.

Our department encompasses five vital disciplines: Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, and Software Engineering. These fields are at the forefront of technological innovation, scientific discovery, and the mathematical foundations that underpin our understanding of the natural world. In an era where digital transformation and scientific advancement drive economic growth, our disciplines are more relevant than ever to the Caribbean region and beyond.

As a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and with extensive experience in mathematical sciences, I am committed to building upon our department's strong foundation while fostering new opportunities for growth and excellence.
