Undergraduate Scholarships



    The Lenstec Barbados Inc. Scholarship
    Duration: One (1) year
    Eligibility: Two (2) scholarships open to CARICOM nationals of contributing countries who have gained admission to The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. The applicant must be enrolled to read for a degree in Physics and/or Mathematics. Two (2) scholarships open to the children of full-time employees of Lenstec Inc. who have been continuously employed with the company for a minimum of five years. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in their second or third year of a degree in the Faculty of Science and Technology or Medical Sciences
    Value: BDS$2,500.00 each
    Criteria: Based on academic merit and financial need. Students applying for the scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 2.90 and write an essay of not less than 600 words indicating the need for assistance. Applicants who are the children of employees should indicate this when applying by including the name of their parent
